What You'll Do11
- 1Communicate observation feedback to the clinical team and wait for replacement before vacating the monitoring station to guarantee uninterrupted patient observation
- 2Document patient activity interactions and communications accurately in electronic medical records following policy protocols
- 3Identify and remove immediate hazards from patient environments and report findings appropriately
- 4Provide bedside care or assist patients with activities of daily living as directed by the supervising RN
- 5Complete hourly rounding logs for assigned patients during in‑person shifts
- 6Conduct remote monitoring verbal redirection of at‑risk behaviors and escalate concerns to nursing staff when necessary
- 7Collaborate on identifying and reporting patient safety issues while adhering to departmental guidelines
- 8Deliver thorough hand‑off reports using standardized electronic medical review for shift transitions
- 9Maintain vigilance across up to twelve patients via visual and two‑way audio surveillance using multiple monitors
- 10Perform continual visual and digital surveillance while fostering patient‑centered care and family engagement
- 11Drive safety initiatives that differentiate this position through proactive oversight and data‑driven decision making
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association including E‑Card and RQI
- 3Additional BLS credential such as Grace or Red Cross certification
- 4Proficiency with Python AWS React and Kubernetes for data analysis and system monitoring
- 5Minimum 5+ years of experience building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 6Strong analytical skills to interpret patient data and implement corrective actions
- 7Excellent communication abilities in English both verbally and in writing
- 8Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands in a high‑stress environment
- 9Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding MSS privacy policies
- 10Flexibility to work across virtual and in‑person settings within the hospital district
- 11Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health record systems
