Own and optimize operations for HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems across commercial and residential properties at scale. Lead a skilled team of technicians, driving safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with engineering and property teams to ensure energy efficiency and compliance with codes. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management to deliver high‑quality service across diverse environments.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead and supervise a service team to perform HVAC system repairs, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple properties
- 2Diagnose complex HVAC systems including refrigeration, boilers, electrical and plumbing components, and building automation systems
- 3Review schematics, electrical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to implement effective solutions
- 4Coordinate service schedules to complete projects safely and on time while maintaining EPA regulations
- 5Manage inventory of tools, parts, and equipment to support efficient service delivery
- 6Provide clear technical communication to clients to foster strong relationships
- 7Ensure compliance with local codes and safety regulations through regular audits and training
- 8Support overflow and difficult jobs by coordinating resources and prioritizing work
- 9Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- 10Collaborate with property teams to optimize energy efficiency and system performance
Requirements5
- 1Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with strong HVAC service background
- 2Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, boilers, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, and mechanical repairs
- 3Experience with diagnosing and repairing complex systems and using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- 4Demonstrated leadership in managing teams of technicians or maintenance staff
- 5EPA certification for refrigerants and valid driver’s license with clean record
