The Human Resources Generalist will support the Human Resources Manager at Adient in Riverside Missouri overseeing personnel functions and fostering a supportive workplace culture. This role emphasizes character commitment and inclusive values driving employee engagement and operational excellence.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist in maintaining personnel records and reports through BOS System Policies and Procedures
- 2Administer benefits programs and coordinate with the Receptionist and HR Specialist
- 3Process recruitment screening interviews and background checks for diverse candidates
- 4Develop and present employee orientation programs aligned with progressive employment philosophy
- 5Maintain compliance with federal state and local laws regarding affirmative action reports
- 6Coordinate FMLA/FLA leaves and assist with EEO1 Vets 100 reporting requirements
- 7Monitor employee transactions such as layoffs and permanent transfers ensuring policy adherence
- 8Support HR initiatives including Special Events and employee wellness activities
- 9Perform safety audits and address quality or safety concerns immediately
- 10Update computerized personnel databases and manage active/inactive employee records
- 11Contribute to policy development including Employee Handbook and Safety Program creation
Requirements5
- 1Minimum of three years in HR Generalist positions with knowledge of personnel systems
- 2Strong leadership abilities and experience with Kronos Access Lotus Notes PeopleSoft
- 3Proficiency in Word Excel and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting
- 4Sound working knowledge of Kronos Access Lotus Notes PeopleSoft
- 5Experience with HRIS systems and compliance frameworks including EEO1 Vets 100 AAP and Immigration Compliance
