What You'll Do11
- 1Sort and verify accuracy of Night Audit work focusing on receivables reconciliation and banquet check extensions
- 2Code banquets at cost and route sales and promotion checks with backup personnel
- 3Record department administration phone calls and flag concerns for the Controller
- 4Post city ledger payments in property management system and reconcile all accounts
- 5Perform follow-up billing and credit collection documentation while informing the Controller of uncollectible accounts
- 6Reconcile credit card backups to General Cashier Summary and report discrepancies
- 7Bill out credit cards including AMEX and DINERS while maintaining accurate logs
- 8Set up new accounts following credit policy and assist in reconciling open items
- 9Input General Ledger and City Ledger reconciliations verifying purchase order validity
- 10File and distribute credit card cancellations bulletins and warnings
- 11Process returned checks as cash and record General Ledger entries
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred with hotel experience
- 25+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 3U.S. military experience encouraged
- 4Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 5Ability to operate personal computers calculators and communicate effectively
