Overview
You own the repair and upkeep of Staybridge Suites Las Colinas in Dallas, Texas. You restore guest rooms and public spaces to top condition, fixing HVAC, AC, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems. You report directly to the maintenance supervisor and coordinate with front desk and housekeeping teams. This role suits a hands-on technician who thrives on varied repairs and visible results.
What You'll Do10
- 1Repair and inspect HVAC, AC, and heating units in guest rooms to ensure comfort.
- 2Fix toilets, sinks, showers, faucets, drains, and leaks to maintain working plumbing.
- 3Repair refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals in guest kitchens.
- 4Troubleshoot and fix TVs, lights, outlets, and switches to keep electrical systems safe.
- 5Repair doors, locks, hinges, and furniture to keep guest rooms functional.
- 6Replace light bulbs, batteries, and filters to maintain operational efficiency.
- 7Address water leaks, ceiling damage, wall damage, and other room defects promptly.
- 8Maintain hallways, lobby, elevators, stairwells, and laundry areas to high standards.
- 9Repair damaged fixtures and equipment in public areas to ensure guest satisfaction.
- 10Maintain clean parking spaces and handle daily trash removal to keep the property tidy.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of hotel or building maintenance experience handling HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- 2Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to report onsite daily.
- 3Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders for ceiling and light repairs.
- 4Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- 5Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix issues across electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- 6Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed for guest coverage.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance is a plus.
