Hotel Maintenance Engineer - Washington DC
Overview
Design and execute comprehensive hotel maintenance programs ensuring quality sustainability standards while enhancing guest experiences. This role leads preventative and repair initiatives across facilities. You will own maintenance operations and drive improvements that elevate departmental performance and guest satisfaction.
What You'll Do18
- 1Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs
- 2Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings
- 3Paint designated areas and items
- 4Install and replace basic electrical fixtures light switches receptacles light bulbs fixtures
- 5Repair furniture
- 6Install replace and program televisions
- 7Perform minor plumbing functions
- 8Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps perform preventative maintenance on units
- 9Trace and repair all types of water lines
- 10Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment
- 11Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records
- 12Perform and maintain work to local state and federal codes
- 13Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- 14Work as a bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods
- 15Follow Service Recovery Guidelines
- 16Practice safe work habits wear protective safety equipment comply with MSDS and OSHA standards
- 17Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- 18Perform other duties as requested by management
Requirements15
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2High School diploma and Trade school course work in related field preferred
- 3Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required
