We seek a friendly organized Host to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be first point of contact for guests providing exceptional hospitality while ensuring welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills managing guest relations smoothly. Great side hustle for making extra money in fun fast-paced environment. Tips from pool shared with other hosts and food runners. Do not apply if under age 16.
What You'll Do11
- 1Greet guests warmly providing accurate wait times
- 2Manage reservations seating using POS system
- 3Maintain clean front-of-house area updating menus and promotions
- 4Assist guests with menu specials restaurant policies
- 5Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff for timely service
- 6Handle phone calls taking reservations answering questions
- 7Address guest concerns promptly ensuring positive dining experience
- 8Bus/clear/reset tables
- 9Train and operate Open Table system
- 10Multitask in fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- 11Maintain positive attitude helping guests and team members
Requirements6
- 1Previous experience restaurant food service preferred
- 2Familiarity Open Table is plus
- 3Strong customer service skills focusing guest relations hospitality
- 4Excellent phone etiquette communication abilities
- 5Ability to multitask fast-paced environment
