What You'll Do8

  • 1Greet guests on arrival, estimate wait times, and enter names into the computer system
  • 2Manage reservations and walk-ins using OpenTable, while handling phone calls and to-go orders
  • 3Escort guests to tables, present menus, and note special occasions for the service team
  • 4Monitor the host stand, keeping it organized and clean, and perform daily cleaning duties
  • 5Rotate seating across sections to balance server workloads and reduce wait times
  • 6Enforce the dress code policy consistently and check amenities like restrooms periodically
  • 7Communicate guest needs to the manager and service team, flagging allergies or special requests
  • 8Support the team by handling guest feedback and directing issues to management as needed

Requirements8

  • 1Guest service experience in hospitality is preferred
  • 2Valid identification and, where required, a food handler's certification
  • 3Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent stooping or kneeling
  • 4Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • 5Ability to read and follow written instructions in English, with basic English preferred
  • 6Ability to learn and use Toast POS, Restaurant365, and OpenTable
  • 7Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • 8Basic knowledge of sanitation and cleanliness standards
