Overview
Own the guest arrival experience at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center, a 451-room 4-Star hotel with 30,000 square feet of conference space. You manage the dining room flow, seating, and reservations for a high-volume restaurant operation. You coordinate with front-of-house staff and room service to ensure every guest receives prompt, courteous service. What You'll Do8
- 1Greet guests on arrival, offer seating choices, escort them to tables, and present menus.
- 2Check station setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shift, using standard hotel cleaning products.
- 3Track customer counts and table availability to balance seating and wait times.
- 4Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide friendly, professional responses.
- 5Maintain clean menus and complete knowledge of daily specials, soups, and hours of operation.
- 6Assist room service with overflow phone orders during peak times.
- 7Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and emergency plans, reporting issues to management.
- 8Support other restaurant personnel as needed during service.
Requirements6
- 11+ years experience in hospitality or guest service roles.
- 2Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- 3Strong communication skills for guest interaction and phone etiquette.
- 4Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as the hotel operates 24/7.
- 5Knowledge of restaurant seating arrangements and reservation systems.
- 6Must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance per handbook standards.
