What You'll Do10
- 1Build patient care plans and administer medications to alleviate symptoms in the final stages of life
- 2Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families
- 3Coordinate with care teams to ensure continuity of care and timely documentation
- 4Lend operational support by ordering medications, obtaining equipment, and filing essential records
- 5Maintain compliance with hospice standards and regulatory requirements
- 6Support coverage on 5x8 day shifts and manage patient flow during peak periods
- 7Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient comfort and safety
- 8Document care interventions and outcomes for ongoing evaluation
- 9Participate in handoffs and family conferences to align expectations
- 10Ensure readiness for extended contracts lasting 20 to 24 weeks
Requirements10
- 12 years of recent Hospice experience
- 22 years of RN experience
- 3Valid RN license
- 4Willingness to relocate to New Jersey for the contract duration
- 5Availability to work every other weekend and one summer holiday
- 6Availability to work one winter holiday
- 7Flexibility to commit to an extended contract lasting 20 to 24 weeks
- 8Onsite work location in Morristown, NJ
- 9Travel RN role with on the road assignments
- 10Ability to meet 5x8 shift schedule
