Overview
Own health services for students at a Gilbert North Elementary campus with direct patient care and health record management. You will support immunization reviews, medication administration, and health education within a school setting. What You'll Do10
- 1Provide basic first aid and general care to students
- 2Administer daily medications and maintain accurate medication records
- 3Review student immunizations to ensure state compliance
- 4Assist with hearing and vision screenings
- 5Organize health office with student health files and emergency cards
- 6Compile periodic and year end health reports for state and district
- 7Provide health education to teachers, parents and students as needed
- 8Serve as liaison between teachers, parents, students and administrators
- 9Support students with special needs in health-related matters
- 10Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint card
- 3Willingness to obtain CMA, EMT, CNA, LPN, or RN licensure as applicable
- 4Ability to work onsite at a school campus
- 5Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
