Growth Associate, Healthcare Outreach & Community Engagement
Overview
The Growth Associate will own community outreach in the Tampa market, engaging prospective patients face-to-face to explain healthcare options and guide enrollment. You will build relationships with senior-focused organizations, coordinate events with brokers and partners, and handle lead follow-up to drive local membership growth. This role blends event-based outreach with in-person storytelling and becomes a key touchpoint for potential patients. What You'll Do15
- 1Build and represent the organization at community outreach programs, educational sessions, open houses, and health events to raise awareness among prospective patients
- 2Coordinate with brokers, agents, and community partners to plan and deliver consumer-facing events that attract senior audiences
- 3Explain available products, clinics, and provider options and guide enrollment or new patient steps during conversations
- 4Capture lead information at events and maintain timely follow-up to move prospects through outreach and conversion
- 5Prepare and transport event materials, displays, and resources for successful presentations and enrollment conversations
- 6Develop relationships with senior-serving organizations and retirement communities to expand community engagement opportunities
- 7Manage outreach activities in the field including email communication and coordination across browser-based systems
- 8Support evening and weekend events as schedules require
- 9Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication through emails and in-person presentations
- 10Travel locally with reliable transportation to participate in mobile, event-driven outreach
- 11Maintain event materials and on-site setup to ensure smooth event operations
- 12Navigate multiple tools and platforms to track leads and outcomes
- 13Engage older adult populations and community partners in educational or promotional settings
- 14Prefer bilingual Spanish speakers when possible
- 15Adapt to flexible hours to align with event schedules
Requirements8
- 1Experience in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role with lead generation or follow-up responsibilities
- 2Ability to travel locally and work in a mobile, event-driven environment
- 3Experience coordinating or supporting events including handling materials and on-site setup
- 4Strong verbal and written communication skills for emails and in-person presentations
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with multiple browser-based tools
- 6Comfort engaging older adult populations and community partners in educational or promotional settings
- 7Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by events
- 8Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred
