What You'll Do8
- 1Set up and adjust grinding machinery including wheels and guide plates
- 2Dress wheels and regulate wheels to maintain proper operation
- 3Inspect parts against blueprint specifications using geometric dimensioning and tolerance tools
- 4Maintain accurate inventory counts and report usage through the labor system
- 5Identify and resolve issues to continuously improve product quality
- 6Ensure a clean and safe workstation while promptly reporting hazards
- 7Work with all shifts to enhance quality productivity efficiency and customer service
- 8Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with two years of shop experience
- 2Proficiency in blueprint reading for machinists and knowledge of GD&T
- 3Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques
- 4Ability to comply with safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
- 5Legally authorized to work in the United States
