What You'll Do7
- 1Operate grinding machines and hand tools to finish metal parts according to specifications
- 2Inspect components for defects and measure dimensions to verify quality compliance
- 3Remove burrs and excess material to prepare parts for assembly or shipment
- 4Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- 5Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
- 6Maintain organized work areas and document work performance
- 7Report equipment malfunctions and quality concerns promptly
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Previous grinding or metal finishing experience in manufacturing
- 3Basic knowledge of calipers and micrometers
- 4Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- 5Reliable ability to work 7am to 3pm first shift schedule
- 6Certification in grinding or metal fabrication preferred
- 7Familiarity with CNC grinding machines beneficial
- 8Strong understanding of workplace safety standards
- 9Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
