What You'll Do9

  • 1Operate CNC centerless, surface, and wire grinding machines to achieve specifications for quality and throughput.
  • 2Set up and run first-piece and in-process inspections using microscopes, optical comparators, and micrometers.
  • 3Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and ensure proper lubrication and coolant flow.
  • 4Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools, and keep the work area clean and safe.
  • 5Record measurements and data in the ERP system for every part produced.
  • 6Collaborate with team members and other shifts to transfer instructions and resolve issues.
  • 7Machine materials such as stainless steel, composites, and plastics to meet print specifications.
  • 8Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and reduce waste.
  • 9Perform secondary operations like cleaning parts and assisting colleagues as needed.

Requirements8

  • 11-3 years of experience as a CNC Grinding Operator in a medical device or precision manufacturing environment.
  • 2Experience operating CNC centerless or surface grinders preferred.
  • 3High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining is a plus.
  • 4Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
  • 5Good manual dexterity and experience with measuring tools such as calipers and dial indicators.
  • 6Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • 7Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • 8Willingness to work 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:15 PM) and follow safety protocols.
