What You'll Do11
- 1Operate Swiss CNC machines to produce precision medical components
- 2Inspect parts using micrometers calipers bore gauges indicators and other measurement tools
- 3Verify compliance with blueprints GD&T and quality standards
- 4Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments
- 5Conduct preventative maintenance and monitor coolant lubrication systems
- 6Complete first article inspections and maintain detailed production documentation
- 7Support continuous improvement initiatives and 5S practices
- 8Collaborate with quality engineering teams to meet customer specifications
- 9Drive efficiency through troubleshooting and process optimization
- 10Maintain clean climate‑controlled facility and adhere to safety protocols
- 11Contribute ideas for workflow enhancements and equipment upgrades
Requirements11
- 15+ years CNC machining experience with Swiss equipment
- 2Proficiency reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T
- 3Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments
- 4Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- 5Basic mathematical and shop math skills
- 6Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team
- 7Medical device manufacturing background preferred
- 8Tight tolerance experience and GD&T certification
- 9CNC programming experience or mechanical aptitude demonstrated
- 10Experience with SPC and quality control methodologies
- 11CNC machining degree or equivalent technical training
