What You'll Do11
- 1Set up and operate CNC manual ID and centerless grinding machines
- 2Verify part dimensions using measurement tools and calibrate gauges
- 3Inspect machined parts against engineering specifications
- 4Maintain clean work area and document production metrics
- 5Train new hires on grinding processes and safety protocols
- 6Analyze machining data including rotation speeds and feed rates
- 7Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment
- 8Collaborate with engineers to interpret technical drawings
- 9Ensure adherence to federal export control regulations
- 10Document all work activities and maintain compliance records
- 11Support third-shift operations during transition periods
Requirements11
- 1Minimum 6 months experience with precision grinding equipment
- 2High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 3Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- 4Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and process sheets
- 5Strong mathematical skills for calculating machining parameters
- 6Experience with ERP systems for production tracking
- 7Familiarity with federal export control regulations
- 8Excellent communication skills for team coordination
- 9Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- 10Willingness to work rotating shifts including night hours
