Overview

Design and execute machining processes that enable flight critical components. Own development of a reliable machining workflow from initial print review to final inspection. Lead creation of stable production processes while maintaining strict tolerance standards. Shape parts that fly across commercial and defense aircraft.

  • 2Interpret blueprints and manufacturing specifications to plan safe efficient machining
  • 3Perform in-process inspection using gauges and measurement tools document results
  • 4Adjust tooling feeds speeds and offsets to hold tight tolerances
  • 5Collaborate with quality and programming on continuous improvement

Requirements9

  • 11+ years running CNC lathes mills or grinders (4+ preferred skill matters)
  • 2Proven CNC setup experience required
  • 3Blueprint reading and manufacturing spec interpretation
  • 4Gauge and measurement tool proficiency
  • 5GD&T fundamentals a plus
  • 6Experience with CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC) CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) CNC Lathe (2–4 axis) CNC Lathe (5+ axis) CNC Swiss Lathe CNC Grinder
  • 7Availability for open shifts across all three rotations
  • 8U.S. citizenship with security clearance eligibility
  • 9Pass a pre-employment drug screen including marijuana test
