What You'll Do8
- 1Separate, label, and verify incoming freight deliveries to ensure accurate stock counts.
- 2Stock and maintain warehouse inventory using AS400 and other systems to track product locations.
- 3Locate and pull stock for outgoing orders, using proper handling techniques.
- 4Package finished products for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
- 5Operate material-handling equipment like forklifts, hoists, and motorized conveyors safely.
- 6Climb ladders to access shelves and complete orders, standing for most of the shift.
- 7Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- 8Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use, ensuring operational safety.
Requirements8
- 1* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 2* 1+ year of prior warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- 3* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- 4* Proficiency in basic computer skills, including email and online training.
- 5* Experience with AS400 or similar MRP system preferred.
- 6* Strong communication skills for coordinating with teammates.
- 7* Capability to perform basic math calculations for inventory validation.
- 8* Organizational and prioritization skills to meet shipping deadlines.
