Warehouse Associate, Forklift & Order Picker
Overview
You'll own order pulling and outbound shipping at a Fortune 500 distributor, using stand-up forklifts and order pickers to prep pallets for delivery. You'll join a team of 36,000 associates across 1,700 locations, working Monday-Friday from 1:00pm to 9:30pm. The role demands physical stamina: lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and 90 lbs occasionally. You'll keep the facility clean and safe, wearing a safety harness (max 400 lbs capacity). This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail keeps complex projects simple.
What You'll Do5
- 1Operate stand-up forklifts (order selector/cherry picker), pallet jacks, and overhead cranes to pull and prepare outbound orders.
- 2Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages for shipment.
- 3Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material accurately and on time.
- 4Clean the workspace as you go, keeping the facility safe and accident-free.
- 5Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and a safety harness (max 400 lbs capacity).
Requirements9
- 10-3 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management preferred.
- 2Prior experience using forklift, order pickers, and other material handling equipment preferred.
- 3High attention to detail.
- 4Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- 5Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
- 6Self-starter with the ability to learn our systems quickly.
