What You'll Do8
- 1Separate, label, and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries using the computer system to locate products.
- 2Stock and maintain warehouse inventory, climbing ladders to access shelves and ensure proper placement.
- 3Locate and pull stock for outgoing deliveries, fulfilling orders with accuracy and speed.
- 4Package finished product for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
- 5Operate material-handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and motorized conveyors safely.
- 6Clean and maintain the work area, and turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- 7Support shipping and receiving duties, coordinating with team members to meet customer requirements.
- 8Complete occasional overtime as needed to meet operational demands.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 21+ years of work experience in a warehouse or distribution center, preferred.
- 3Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, or climb for 8+ hours per day.
- 4Basic computer skills to check email and complete online training courses.
- 5Experience with MRP systems such as AS400, preferred.
- 6Strong communication skills to coordinate with co-workers and satisfy customer needs.
- 7Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and prioritize job tasks.
