Warehouse Associate, Automotive Parts
Overview
You own order accuracy and warehouse flow at a national automotive parts distributor. You pull customer orders, stock shelves, and run cycle counts to keep inventory precise. You work onsite with a team that moves 1,000+ SKUs daily. This role adds delivery duties using a company vehicle, so you get road time too. Forklift certification gives you an edge, but we train the right person.
What You'll Do6
- 1Pull customer orders with RF scanner and voice picking tech, hitting 99% accuracy in your first 30 days.
- 2Run inventory cycle counts daily and reconcile WMS records to shelf stock.
- 3Stock incoming shipments within 2 hours of arrival, rotating automotive parts by SKU.
- 4Maintain a clean, hazard-free warehouse floor, following OSHA storage rules.
- 5Write customer returns with correct part numbers and quantities, tagging hazmat items per DOT guidelines.
- 6Load and unload delivery van, route-stop sequence, and deliver parts to shops within the metro area.
Requirements7
- 118+ years old with a valid driver's license and clean record.
- 2High School Diploma or GED.
- 31+ year in a warehouse or stockroom role.
- 4Forklift operation experience, a plus.
- 5Lift 75 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8-hour shifts.
- 6Read and match part numbers to orders without error.
- 7Communicate with managers and customers via two-way radio and email.
