Working with a cross-functional team of production and QA staff, you will ensure daily food safety and quality. What You'll Do10

  • 1Run analytical tests on products from continuous cooking equipment, measuring % soluble solids, viscosity, and color.
  • 2Conduct organoleptic and visual inspections on all manufactured products.
  • 3Audit cook stations and packaging lines for HACCP compliance, checking weights, seals, temperatures, coding, and GMPs.
  • 4Verify printed labels and packaging films against approved marketing standards.
  • 5Perform annual raw material validations against supplier Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  • 6Check incoming raw materials against Bills of Lading (BOLs) and confirm accuracy of COAs.
  • 7Initiate and document corrective actions for food safety or quality issues.
  • 8Swab equipment for environmental monitoring.
  • 9Cover production floor and QA lab as needed, maintaining professional communication.
  • 10Complete daily documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements6

  • 11-3 years in a Quality Assurance role with food plant processes.
  • 2Associates degree in sciences with 1-2 years of industry or academic experience.
  • 3Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience in industry or academic setting.
  • 4Hands-on experience with HACCP protocols and GMPs.
  • 5Ability to perform analytical testing including % solids, viscosity, and color.
  • 6Strong documentation and communication skills.
