Overview

Quality Assurance roles ensure compliance with GMP and food safety standards at scale. The team collaborates with production, QA, and management to verify policies are followed across multiple inspection areas. This position emphasizes hands-on testing, documentation, and rapid decision making to maintain product quality. This role is unique for its combination of laboratory-style testing and manufacturing floor oversight.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and perform milk receiving, sampling, and temperature checks to validate incoming material quality
  • 2Design and execute organoleptic, pH, acidity, and brix testing to ensure product specifications are met
  • 3Own metal detector, X-ray, weight, sealing, labeling, and packaging checks to prevent nonconforming outputs
  • 4Ship and document micro & lab testing including water and listeria samples with plating and incubation
  • 5Lead environmental pre-operation checks, ATP swabbing, allergen swabbing, and sanitizer concentration audits
  • 6Drive kettles, filler operations, and code checks to verify process integrity
  • 7Monitor paperwork, retain samples, and code verification to maintain traceability
  • 8Coordinate with supervisors on GMP and food safety violations and corrective actions
  • 9Collaborate with QA team to release or hold in-process product based on specification
  • 10Validate environmental and equipment conditions on the production floor to ensure compliance

  • 1Must have strong communication with associates, leads, supervisors, and management
  • 2Detail oriented and team focused with willingness to work extended shifts
  • 3Ability to learn science-based material and perform high school level algebra
  • 4Decision making to determine hold status and spec conformance for in-process product
  • 5Experience with lab equipment and pencil-and-paper documentation on manufacturing lines
