You will own product quality for an international food manufacturer in Los Angeles, checking raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to keep every batch within specification. You will join a QC team that works nights and weekends, reporting through a structured quality system. What You'll Do8

  • 1Check incoming raw materials and documentation to verify integrity and compliance.
  • 2Test intermediate products for weight and hardness, ensuring they stay within the standard range.
  • 3Run finished product tests on weight, hardness, dimensions, and sensory attributes against specifications.
  • 4Perform microbiological testing to detect contamination and ensure safety.
  • 5Calibrate laboratory instruments to maintain accurate measurements.
  • 6Generate reports with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to document findings.
  • 7Participate in internal and third-party audits, supporting food safety systems.
  • 8Walk, squat, bend, turn, and lift up to 50 lbs during sampling and testing.

Requirements6

  • 14-year degree in science or a related field.
  • 2Familiarity with food safety systems and good manufacturing processes.
  • 3Knowledge of ATP testing procedures and food plant sanitation.
  • 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 5Strong math and writing skills.
  • 6Aseptic techniques and attention to detail.
