What You'll Do9
- 1Drive OTR routes hauling flatbed and step deck trailers across the Midwest, Southeast, and Southwest
- 2Secure and tarp freight as needed, with only 30% of loads requiring tarping
- 3Transport large MRI magnets for medical manufacturers and suppliers
- 4Haul ocean containers from CA ports to OH and surrounding areas
- 5Deliver high-value cargo including artwork, boats, trailers, generators, and aerospace equipment
- 6Operate 2022-2027 tractors equipped with APU, refrigerator, and inverter
- 7Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and safety standards
- 8Communicate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time delivery
- 9Manage paperwork and logbooks accurately using electronic logging devices
Requirements8
- 12+ years of verifiable OTR flatbed experience
- 2Valid CDL A license in good standing
- 3Clean driving record with DOT compliance
- 4Ability to secure and tarp freight, with tarp pay provided
- 5Willingness to run OTR routes with occasional Northeast runs
- 6Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy tarps and straps
- 7Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- 8Knowledge of PrePass Plus transponder use for bypassing scales and tolls
