Overview
Own financial execution and procurement monitoring for a federal client, processing transactions in Navy-ERP within three business days. Maintain spend plans, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with government stakeholders to ensure accuracy. Work onsite in Washington, D.C., alongside a team supporting defense agencies. What You'll Do7
- 1Draft and process financial transactions, including Procurement Requests, in Navy-ERP within three business days of request.
- 2Monitor procurement packages from initiation to completion, verifying receipt of goods and services.
- 3Maintain spend plans in the Execution Website to meet BFM requirements.
- 4Identify and resolve financial discrepancies by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- 5Produce financial reports, budget analyses, and impact statements that are accurate and error-free.
- 6Coordinate with IT and BFM personnel to gather technical details and resolve incomplete submissions.
- 7Collect task-related data from multiple sources, validate accuracy, and update tasker trackers daily.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of experience in federal financial management, including budget execution and spend plan management.
- 2Hands-on experience with Navy-ERP or other ERP systems for processing financial transactions.
- 3Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and conduct root cause analysis.
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and financial modeling.
- 5Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- 6Experience with DoD property accountability and audit readiness, including FIAR standards.
- 7Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- 8Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder coordination.
