Overview

The Financial Reporting Manager will lead the company's financial reporting function ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple entities. This role reports to the Controller and supports strategic decision-making through robust financial insights. The ideal candidate is a CPA with technical accounting expertise seeking to build a sophisticated reporting function.

What You'll Do22

  • 1Lead the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
  • 2Ensure financial reporting compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • 3Develop and maintain financial reporting schedules and documentation
  • 4Review financial results and perform variance analysis
  • 5Prepare executive reporting packages and presentations
  • 6Assist with budgeting forecasting and long-range planning
  • 7Manage monthly quarterly and annual consolidation processes across multiple entities
  • 8Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and elimination entries
  • 9Maintain consolidation workpapers and supporting schedules
  • 10Develop and enhance key performance indicators and management reporting
  • 11Analyze operational and financial performance metrics
  • 12Create dashboards and reporting tools for improved visibility
  • 13Serve as primary internal contact for external auditors
  • 14Coordinate annual audits and prepare audit schedules
  • 15Research and document accounting treatment for complex transactions
  • 16Monitor new accounting pronouncements and assess impact
  • 17Support development and implementation of accounting policies
  • 18Partner with accounting leadership and executives
  • 19Provide guidance on reporting requirements and best practices
  • 20Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams
  • 21Lead special projects and strategic initiatives

Requirements11

  • 15+ years progressive accounting audit or financial reporting experience
  • 2Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 3Active CPA designation required
  • 4Consolidations technical accounting knowledge
  • 5Multi-entity organization experience
  • 6ERP system proficiency
  • 7Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • 8Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • 9Experience with financial statement preparation
  • 10Audit coordination and compliance background
  • 11Public accounting experience preferred
