Field Service Technician, Mechanical Assembly & Industrial Equipment
Overview
Own the field service lifecycle for custom industrial furnaces from Aston, PA while supporting assembly and production. You will travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment, with a strong focus on mechanical assembly and machine troubleshooting. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve designs and serviceability, and grow your technical skills in a challenging manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and assemble custom industrial furnaces at the Aston facility and on customer sites
- 2Troubleshoot mechanical systems and assist with electrical control diagnostics to resolve issues
- 3Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair furnace systems at customer locations
- 4Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure reliability and performance
- 5Provide exceptional customer service and technical support remotely and on-site
- 6Collaborate with engineering to improve product design and serviceability
- 7Maintain accurate service reports, installation documentation, and maintenance records
- 8Pursue ongoing training to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge
- 9Travel to customer facilities for installation, repairs and preventative maintenance
- 10Prepare service documentation and logs for each service event
Requirements10
- 1Experience as a Field Service Technician or similar hands-on role supporting industrial equipment
- 2Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with experience assembling and repairing industrial machinery
- 3Working knowledge of electrical control systems and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
- 4Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, mechanical prints, electrical schematics, and ladder diagrams
- 5Technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred
- 6Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- 7Valid driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain passport
- 8Willingness to travel as required
- 9Ability to commute to Aston, PA 19014 (Required)
- 10US citizenship or ability to work on specific customer projects (as required)
