Field Service Technician, Industrial Equipment & Robotics
Overview
Field Service Technician will own on site installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment across multiple sites with support from a cross functional team. You will diagnose electronic, mechanical, software and system failures using established service procedures and provide timely, cost effective resolutions. You will collaborate with customers, coordinate with internal departments, and maintain parts inventories and preventive maintenance schedules. This role offers exposure to printing and packaging equipment, cash recycling products, robotics, and third party accessories in a dynamic field environment.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and install industrial systems including printing packaging equipment cash recycling systems robotics and related third party accessories
- 2Schedule and perform preventive maintenance inspections to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- 3Provide customer support on operational and maintenance aspects of systems and manage parts inventory and service calls
- 4Foster positive customer relations through proactive communication and reliable service
- 5Act as liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure swift resolution and clear updates
- 6Respond to emergency and non scheduled service calls within established response times and provide on call support as needed
Requirements5
- 1High School degree or equivalent with 2+ years electronics/advanced mechanics/software training or related industry experience
- 2Strong electronics and mechanical background with ability to troubleshoot using DMM and other diagnostic tools
- 3Ability to travel within the United States and Canada for training and service with up to significant local travel % as required
- 4Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong customer relationships
- 5Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in loud, cramped, elevated, or physically demanding environments
