Field Service Technician II
Overview
The Field Services Technician provides onsite desktop and field support for end-user devices and peripherals in Lemont, IL. This role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting and repair while maintaining strict adherence to safety policies and site procedures.
What You'll Do5
- 1Perform hands-on troubleshooting and break/fix for desktops laptops docks monitors printers and peripherals
- 2Support walk-up and field requests coordinating with service desk for ticket ownership and user updates
- 3Execute device lifecycle tasks including provisioning swaps configuration and retirement following asset procedures
- 4Maintain toolkits and standard repair tools providing assistance for AV installation requests
- 5Comply with safety policies completing required JHQ and training before performing work
Requirements3
- 1Associate’s degree and technical training preferred with minimum 2 years of related experience
- 2Physical Demands: Ability to talk or hear remain seated for extended periods participate in filing lift and carry office supplies and handle items up to 15 pounds
- 3Fine hand manipulation keyboarding skills required
