IT Service Desk Support Specialist II
Overview
Provide technical support for corporate computing devices and end-user services across local and remote environments. Build configure maintain and troubleshoot desktops laptops mobile devices and peripherals. Meet SLA expectations and resolve incidents efficiently.
What You'll Do11
- 1Prioritize and resolve incidents via phone email walk-up or ticketing system while meeting SLAs.
- 2Offer end-user support in person remotely and for traveling employees.
- 3Troubleshoot hardware software operating system account access connectivity and peripheral issues.
- 4Coordinate with internal IT teams business departments and external vendors for escalated issues.
- 5Create and maintain automation for repeatable support tasks.
- 6Monitor backup restore processes and system alerts escalating urgent matters.
- 7Document recurring problems identify root causes and recommend sustainable solutions.
- 8Develop clear documentation SOPs and user-friendly support guidance.
- 9Stay current with IT security practices technology changes and platform updates.
- 10Order computers and maintain accurate asset inventory records.
- 11Prepare deploy computers configure mobile devices and support peripherals.
Requirements5
- 1Minimum three years of experience in enterprise IT support service desk operations or desktop support.
- 2Associates degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3Certifications such as CompTIA A+ Network+ ITIL Foundation or Microsoft 365 certifications preferred.
- 4Cloud platform knowledge is a plus.
- 5Strong troubleshooting analytical problem-solving skills proactive ownership and collaborative teamwork.
