Overview

Own the hands-on maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment across mission-critical sites. Youll support warehouse operations and field work for solar farms and battery storage, with travel up to 100 per cent. This role offers hands-on training and a path into solar, battery storage, HVAC, and power generation.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure reliability
  • 2Troubleshoot systems and complete repairs safely and efficiently to minimize downtime
  • 3Assist with preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability
  • 4Install and maintain conduit, cable trays, brackets, supports, and shelving
  • 5Support warehouse, fleet, and shop operations including equipment maintenance and organization
  • 6Assist experienced technicians at commercial solar and battery storage sites
  • 7Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment
  • 8Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and follow safety procedures
  • 9Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment
  • 10Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements10

  • 11 year of experience in maintenance, construction, automotive, manufacturing, military, industrial, or a related field preferred
  • 2Completion of a trade school program acceptable
  • 3Willingness to travel up to 100 percent following Pearces rotational schedule
  • 4Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • 5Ability to climb ladders and work at heights of 6–30 feet
  • 6Comfort working in warehouses, shops, solar sites, and industrial facilities
  • 7Strong mechanical aptitude with interest in electrical systems
  • 8Dependable and adaptable with a focus on safety and quality
  • 9Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the New Jersey area for onsite work
  • 10Excellent communication and teamwork skills
