What You'll Do13
- 1Test diagnose and troubleshoot existing PV systems in the field and remotely
- 2Inspect and review commissioning documentation and support construction teams with commissioning of newly constructed solar assets
- 3Conduct maintenance inspections and provide reports on findings
- 4Coordinate and support operations team with prompt resolution of system outages and analyze system performance via online monitoring and data tracking systems
- 5Perform quality control inspections as necessary
- 6Prepare quotes for corrective maintenance
- 7Participate in formal and field training and programs
- 8Apply Standard Solar and OSHA safety policies and principles
- 9Maintain awareness of latest construction technologies materials and test procedures
- 10Report work progress plans issues and problems to management according to company policies
- 11Maintain respectful professional relationships with clients and develop professional relationships with potential clients
- 12Support asset operations by being on-call for emergency and weekend support on a rotating basis
- 13Meet exceed performance objectives as defined and communicated by management
Requirements12
- 1High school diploma required
- 2Minimum of (4) years of hands-on electrical experience as an Apprentice Electrician and qualifying experience demonstrating eligibility to sit for the Journeyman Certification examination
- 3Troubleshooting logic and strong organizational skills
- 4Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 5Proficiency and experience with the National Electric Code (NEC)
- 6Competency with Microsoft Office Journeyman or Master Electrician certification preferred
- 7Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred
- 8Experience with MODBUS control schemes and data acquisition systems preferred
- 9NABCEP PV Installation Professional (PVIP) certification preferred
- 10OSHA training preferred
- 11Must successfully pass background check and pre-employment drug testing
- 12Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer
