Solar Foreperson
Overview
The Solar Foreperson leads and mentors a crew of three to six technicians delivering high-quality residential and small commercial installations. This role drives safety excellence and operational efficiency while fostering a supportive team culture. Candidates will shape project outcomes and contribute to Sunrun's mission of expanding clean energy access.
What You'll Do11
- 1Organize and lead daily crew activities to ensure project milestones are met
- 2Manage full construction workflow from planning to completion
- 3Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting
- 4Develop collaborative relationships with branch colleagues
- 5Analyze workforce challenges and propose actionable solutions
- 6Preserve client satisfaction through proactive communication
- 7Provide on-site service calls and field support
- 8Act as temporary supervisor when needed
- 9Implement OSHA and NEC compliance across all installations
- 10Utilize Microsoft Office suite for administrative tasks
- 11Perform physical site inspections and coordinate material logistics
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Two years construction experience including one year solar installation
- 3Electrical knowledge with 600 VDC and 480 VAC systems
- 4Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- 5State electrical certification preferred
- 6Ability to perform installer and lead installer duties
- 7Strong understanding of NEC and OSHA standards
- 8CPR and first aid certifications
- 9Proficiency in Excel and Word
- 10Physical stamina for lifting up to 100 pounds and outdoor work
- 11Experience with ladder safety and fall protection equipment

$62 - $83k per year
