Overview

Own a patient panel and deliver comprehensive primary care at scale in Austin. Lead a mix of acute, chronic, and preventive visits while collaborating with in office and virtual teams. You will supervise NP or PA colleagues and have opportunities to perform in-office procedures. This role centers human centered care and ongoing learning in a supportive, team driven environment.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage a diverse patient panel delivering acute, chronic, and preventive care
  • 2Treat patients in office or testing centers and via tele health visits to ensure access across channels
  • 3Lead weekly clinical rounds and cross functional huddles to align on patient care
  • 4Collaborate with in office and virtual teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • 5Supervise NP or PA colleagues and contribute to coaching and mentorship
  • 6Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in other states
  • 7Continue professional development through CME and evidence based practice
  • 8Engage with technology to deliver high quality care and improve workflows
  • 9Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
  • 10Support a culture of human centered primary care and teamwork

Requirements10

  • 1Enrolled in, or completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine Peds residency program
  • 2Practiced in outpatient primary care with patients of all ages (0+) in the last 5 years
  • 3Board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, or Board Eligible with plan to obtain certification within 1 year
  • 4Licensed to practice in TX before start date
  • 5Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
  • 6Comfort with in office procedures and tele health modalities
  • 7Willingness to obtain additional state licensure for virtual care as needed
  • 8Demonstrated collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
  • 9Commitment to ongoing learning and feedback to improve care delivery
  • 10Ability to adapt in a fast changing healthcare environment
