Primary Care Physician, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Overview
You will manage a diverse patient panel of 2,000+ adults, delivering acute, chronic, and preventive care in a tech-enabled primary care practice. You will join a team of physicians, NPs, and PAs at One Medical, part of Amazon, with 24/7 virtual care and on-site labs. This role combines in-office procedures, telehealth visits, and collaboration with virtual clinical teams. You will also supervise NP or PA colleagues and participate in weekly clinical rounds and daily huddles.
What You'll Do8
- 1Manage a patient panel with a broad array of needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
- 2Treat patients in-office or in testing centers, as well as conduct occasional telehealth visits.
- 3Perform in-office procedures using your clinical training, such as minor suturing or joint injections.
- 4Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues, providing guidance and oversight.
- 5Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
- 6Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds to engage in continuous learning.
- 7Utilize One Medical's electronic health record and telehealth platforms for patient care.
- 8Complete additional state licensure and credentialing to support virtual primary care.
Requirements8
- 1Enrolled in or completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program.
- 2Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
- 3Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or Board Eligible with a scheduled exam.
- 4Possess a state license in California before your start date.
- 5Demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
- 6Communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds.
- 7Confidently navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues.
- 8Adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.
