Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care - Austin TX
Overview
Per diem PA or NP will provide primary care services at One Medicals Congress Avenue clinic in Austin TX. You'll handle acute chronic and well visits with collaboration from in person and virtual teams. This role blends in office procedures and occasional tele health and requires willingness to obtain licensure for virtual care in additional states. Workload is 8-23 hours per week and supports a mission driven data informed primary care environment
What You'll Do10
- 1Build strong patient relationships during in person and tele health visits
- 2Provide acute chronic and preventive care to diverse patient populations
- 3Collaborate with in office teammates and virtual clinical teams through daily huddles
- 4Perform in office procedures as trained and permitted
- 5Engage in ongoing learning and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- 6Maintain state licensure and credentialing for expanded tele health coverage
- 7Utilize technology to deliver high quality care and document in EHR
- 8Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning
- 9Support access to care through flexible scheduling and patient education
- 10Represent One Medicals patient centered care model to patients and colleagues
Requirements10
- 1Currently licensed or able to obtain Texas licensure as a PA or NP
- 2Completed an accredited NP or PA program with national certification
- 3At least 2 years of primary care experience
- 4Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively in groups and 1-1
- 5Comfort in a fast growing mission driven organization that uses data to improve outcomes
- 6Willingness to obtain additional state licensure for virtual primary care
- 7Proficiency with using technology to deliver high quality care
- 8Clinical proficiency in evidence based primary care
- 9Openness to feedback and reflective practice
- 10Ability to navigate uncertain patient and team situations
