Family Law Paralegal (5yr Experience)
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Paralegal with a minimum of five years of dedicated Family Law legal support to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of practice areas including family law immigration law and social security. The ideal candidate will be proactive detail-oriented and possess exceptional organizational and research skills to assist attorneys in managing complex cases efficiently. You will play a vital role in supporting legal research document management case preparation and administrative functions that drive our firm’s success.
What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw LexisNexis and other legal research tools to support case strategies across multiple practice areas
- 2Draft review and proofread legal documents such as marital settlement agreements pleadings discovery requests and correspondence with precision and clarity
- 3Manage legal case files and ensure accurate and timely access to case information
- 4Assist attorneys with family law documents filings and documentation
- 5Perform document review and data entry tasks while maintaining meticulous records for litigation cases and administrative proceedings
- 6Support project management initiatives by coordinating deadlines scheduling interviews or client meetings and tracking case progress
- 7Provide executive administrative support including filing transcription proofreading phone etiquette and organizational assistance to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 25+ years working in a fast-paced law office environment
- 3Proficiency in legal research platforms including Westlaw and LexisNexis
- 4Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
- 5Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities
Salary Insight
$42 - $55k per year
