Facilities Manager, Solar Manufacturing & Utilities
Overview
Own the plant facilities utilities and infrastructure to ensure safe reliable compliant operation at scale. Lead maintenance, utility systems, and capital projects across a solar manufacturing site. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, EHS, Quality, and Supply Chain to enable manufacturing objectives. This role offers a focus on long-term reliability, energy management, and sustainability in a high-stakes environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead and develop facilities utilities and maintenance teams to support plant operations
- 2Ensure safe reliable compliant operation of facility and utility systems at a large manufacturing site
- 3Oversee preventive, predictive maintenance and continuous improvement of HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, water and wastewater systems
- 4Manage capital projects including renovations, expansions, infrastructure upgrades, and utility improvements
- 5Coordinate external contractors vendors and service providers while maintaining budget and scheduling
- 6Develop emergency response and business continuity plans for facility and utility systems
- 7Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to maximize reliability efficiency and cost effectiveness
- 8Support site sustainability energy management and cost reduction initiatives
- 9Establish facility standards operating procedures and asset management practices
- 10Prepare and present capital plans performance updates and recommendations to site leadership
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Facilities Management Construction Management or related technical discipline Or equivalent experience
- 28-10 years of experience in facilities utilities maintenance engineering or manufacturing operations
- 3Minimum 2 years of second-level leadership experience
- 4Experience managing industrial facilities utility systems or infrastructure operations
- 5Strong knowledge of building systems utility systems environmental requirements and regulatory compliance
- 6Demonstrated success leading maintenance infrastructure or facilities improvement initiatives
- 7Experience managing contractors service providers and capital projects
- 8Budget development and management experience
- 9Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
- 10Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Salary Insight
$135 - $185k per year
