What You'll Do8

  • 1Drive all phases of Solar-DG and Battery Storage projects from site assessment to commissioning and turnover to O&M
  • 2Build and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, budgets, and bills of materials, ensuring alignment with scope and financial targets
  • 3Lead contract negotiations with subcontractors and vendors, securing favorable terms and managing change orders
  • 4Supervise field teams to enforce safety, quality, and performance standards across engineering, procurement, and construction
  • 5Manage internal and external resources, coordinating with Engineers, Business Development, and Investors to meet milestones
  • 6Represent projects to customers, grid operators, and local authorities, handling permits and regulatory approvals
  • 7Control project scope, schedule, and budget, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • 8Track progress and report metrics to leadership, using MS Project and Excel for scheduling and forecasting

Requirements10

  • 15+ years managing large-scale engineering and construction projects, with 3+ years specifically in Solar-DG or Battery Storage
  • 2Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 3Proven track record of overseeing multi-million-dollar project budgets and schedules
  • 4Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel for cost tracking and Project for scheduling
  • 5Hands-on experience with permitting processes and local authority coordination
  • 6Excellent negotiation skills with subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies
  • 7Ability to travel overnight 25%+ of the time for site visits and project meetings
  • 8Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • 9PMP certification or working knowledge of PMBOK preferred
  • 10Demonstrated risk management and problem-solving in high-pressure situations
