Overview

The Facilities Manager will oversee maintenance, safety, and readiness of the Authority's facilities and related equipment at scale. This role leads a team of technicians, coordinates vendor services, and ensures compliance with safety, building, and environmental requirements. You will drive preventive maintenance programs and manage complex facility projects from initiation to completion. What You'll Do5

  • 1Build and supervise a facilities maintenance team, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of work orders
  • 2Direct preventive maintenance programs for buildings, mechanical systems, and related assets to reduce downtime
  • 3Coordinate facility projects from scope through completion, including schedule, access, and contractor performance
  • 4Oversee inventory management, vendor relationships, warranties, and service agreements to align with safety standards
  • 5Lead emergency response coordination outside normal hours and communicate status to leadership and stakeholders

Requirements5

  • 1Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in facilities maintenance and operations
  • 2Two (2) years of lead or supervisory experience in facilities management or project management
  • 3Experience coordinating multi trade maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and custodial
  • 4Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, service agreements, work orders, inventory, and facility projects
  • 5High school diploma or equivalent
