Overview

Facilities Maintenance Specialist at Strive Pharmacy manages the maintenance, reliability, and regulatory compliance of our on-site facilities in a regulated pharmacy setting. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and keep our environment clean, safe, and compliant across compounding operations. Collaborate with Compounding Operations, Quality Assurance, and external vendors to minimize downtime. This role offers hands-on work in a growth-driven, patient-centric pharmacy.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and execute daily preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for HVAC, laminar airflow workstations, autoclaves, refrigeration, and building utilities to minimize downtime.
  • 2Troubleshoot facility issues and resolve work orders with timely, documented outcomes using CMMS tools.
  • 3Complete scheduled preventive maintenance within established timelines and report recurring issues for leadership review.
  • 4Assist with facility infrastructure maintenance including floors, walls, ceilings, utilities, and cleanroom environments to ensure a compliant workspace.
  • 5Document maintenance activities, service logs, and work orders to support FDA, USP General Chapters, state boards, and company policies.
  • 6Participate in safety initiatives, adhere to PPE requirements, and ensure work aligns with quality and regulatory expectations.
  • 7Escort and coordinate with external contractors during onsite repairs and routine servicing.
  • 8Track inventory of maintenance supplies, spare parts, and tools and alert leadership when restocks are needed.
  • 9Collaborate with internal teams to perform maintenance with minimal disruption to daily workflows
  • 10Support environmental monitoring activities and maintain controlled environments in sterile or regulated areas

Requirements10

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2Minimum of 2+ years of facilities maintenance or related technical experience
  • 3Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret technical manuals and equipment documentation
  • 4Solid organizational skills to manage multiple work orders in an active environment
  • 5Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and vendors
  • 6Basic computer skills to document maintenance activities and manage work orders
  • 7Experience in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical or healthcare settings is a plus
  • 8Familiarity with maintaining cleanroom environments and regulatory standards including FDA and USP General Chapters is preferred
  • 9Experience using maintenance management software or task management platforms (e.g., Asana) is preferred
  • 10Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an onsite facility-based role
