What You'll Do10

  • 1Build predictive/preventive maintenance plans for lab equipment including blenders hoods air compressors and electrical controls
  • 2Diagnose and repair equipment in labs and non-lab spaces such as refrigerators incubators electrical mechanical plumbing and HVAC
  • 3Identify facilities issues and chart trends to drive remedial action from a predictive maintenance approach
  • 4Communicate safety risks and potential losses to management and escalate issues as needed
  • 5Support calibration and testing procedures to ensure accurate operation and regulatory compliance
  • 6Maintain calibration records and maintenance documentation in line with regulatory standards
  • 7Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory affairs to maintain equipment logs maintenance records and validation reports
  • 8Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns emergencies and production interruptions to minimize downtime
  • 9Coordinate repairs with production personnel to minimize manufacturing disruptions
  • 10Identify opportunities for process optimization efficiency improvements and cost savings related to equipment maintenance and operation

Requirements5

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent
  • 23+ years of industry experience in maintenance or engineering in a related field
  • 3Experience troubleshooting and operating advanced technical equipment in a related industry
  • 4Knowledge of PLC systems and CMMS systems
  • 5Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks including climbing ladders and working with PPE
