Senior Facilities Technician, HVAC & Electrical Systems
Overview
You'll own maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex building systems in a regulated medical device manufacturing facility. You'll lead advanced facility activities, support preventive maintenance programs, and ensure safe, reliable operation of HVAC, electrical (480v), plumbing, mechanical, and life-safety systems. You'll provide technical guidance to junior technicians, coordinate with vendors, and uphold strict safety and compliance standards. What You'll Do9
- 1Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical (480v), plumbing, mechanical, and life-safety systems to minimize downtime.
- 2Inspect facility systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- 3Execute and document preventive maintenance programs for facility equipment using CMMS.
- 4Monitor equipment performance, identify recurring issues, and recommend upgrades or replacements.
- 5Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection reports.
- 6Provide technical guidance to junior technicians on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- 7Coordinate with vendors and contractors to complete facility projects and verify work quality.
- 8Support facility improvement projects and equipment installations with hands-on work.
- 9Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety policies, including LOTO procedures.
Requirements10
- 15-7 years of facilities maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
- 2High school diploma or GED.
- 3Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including maintenance and repair.
- 4Experience with electrical systems, including 480v equipment.
- 5Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- 6Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- 7Proven troubleshooting skills for complex building systems.
- 8Experience working with vendors and contractors.
- 9Familiarity with CMMS preferred.
- 10Commitment to safety, including OSHA and LOTO procedures.
