Overview

You will own uptime for a leading manufacturer in the Angier area, cutting downtime across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. You will join a small facilities team, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, and work hands-on with CMMS and diagnostic tools daily. You will also support shipping and receiving, keeping operations flowing. This role stands out for its blend of maintenance and logistics, offering variety and direct impact on production.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Run routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production equipment, building systems, and HVAC units to catch failures early.
  • 2Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues using multimeters, gauges, and schematics.
  • 3Respond to maintenance requests within the shift to minimize downtime and keep lines running.
  • 4Maintain facility lighting, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and structural components to code.
  • 5Complete general building repairs: doors, flooring, fixtures, and minor carpentry.
  • 6Support equipment installations and upgrades, coordinating with vendors and contractors.
  • 7Inspect incoming shipments against packing lists, check for damage, and route materials to the right area.
  • 8Assist with shipping and receiving documentation, updating logs and CMMS entries.

Requirements8

  • 1Associate's degree in a technical field or 10+ years of equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 2Hands-on experience with evaporators, water pumps, and electric systems.
  • 3Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with proven troubleshooting ability.
  • 4Ability to read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications.
  • 5Proficiency with CMMS systems, digital logs, and basic computer applications.
  • 6Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • 7Ability to lift, climb, and work in varied physical environments.
  • 8Forklift operation experience or willingness to be trained.
