Facilities Technician 4 oversees operation and maintenance of facility systems ensuring energy efficiency safety and reliability in a modern manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Operate and maintain facility systems with focus on Electrical HVAC and Piping/Plumbing
- 2Master HVAC fundamentals diagnose and repair malfunctions
- 3Analyze complex system issues using Building Automation Systems and technical documents
- 4Execute preventive maintenance programs for HVACR and chiller systems
- 5Perform systematic troubleshooting to minimize operational downtime
- 6Maintain electrical systems ensure compliance with safety standards
- 7Install and repair plumbing systems and perform preventive maintenance on automatic doors gates and fire safety systems
- 8Conduct daily start-up procedures for fire pumps water heaters boilers and elevators
- 9Utilize CMMS and PM software to schedule and track maintenance activities
- 10Monitor and evaluate rooftop unit performance through Building Automation Systems
- 11Read and interpret drawings blueprints sketches and technical manuals
Requirements14
- 1Journeyman-level technical expertise in Electrical HVAC or Plumbing with minimum 5 years of facilities maintenance experience
- 2High school diploma or GED combined with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design refrigeration and HVAC
- 3Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs with demonstrated knowledge of refrigerant handling and safety practices
- 4At least 4 years of related work experience in commercial industrial or manufacturing environments focusing on HVAC plumbing electrical systems and general building maintenance
- 5Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing CMMS and preventive maintenance software
- 6Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Building Automation Systems including RTU performance monitoring
- 7Strong technical proficiency in facility maintenance including HVAC refrigeration chillers boilers electrical systems plumbing carpentry mechanical systems lighting painting fire safety
- 8Ability to perform systematic troubleshooting on complex building systems
- 9Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as pressure gauges airflow meters and electrical testing instruments
- 10Valid driver’s license
- 11Experience in manufacturing or industrial facility environments with advanced building systems
- 12Advanced troubleshooting abilities in building automation systems and other complex facility systems
- 13Broad experience in facilities maintenance including preventive maintenance building systems mechanical systems carpentry lighting painting and fire safety
- 14Comfortable working on first or second shift schedules with flexibility
