Maintenance Technician IV
Overview
Lead maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure ensuring safety and uptime. Schedule D Shift Wednesday to Friday rotating Saturdays from 5:30pm to 6:00am. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to resolve issues promptly.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform preventive maintenance and repair on production and facilities equipment documenting work completed
- 2Provide repairs and troubleshoot production equipment resolving issues in a timely fashion
- 3Disassemble and diagnose mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic failures using schematics and hand tools
- 4Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor performance and recommend reliability improvements
- 5Identify areas to improve or create PM procedures to reduce equipment failures
- 6Work as a team or independently completing tasks as required
- 7Support projects improving manufacturing processes
- 8Assist in site facility infrastructure repair such as minor painting plumbing and carpentry
- 9Recognize and resolve safety-related issues with factory equipment or building maintenance
- 10Establish and maintain safe and healthy working conditions following department procedures
- 11Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements9
- 1Associates or Technical Degree with minimum 5 years experience in direct equipment maintenance
- 2Ability to read and understand equipment mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
- 3High level of attention to detail
- 4Good mechanical aptitude
- 5Ability to work a 12-hour shift on your feet lifting up to 50 pounds
- 6Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management
- 7Outstanding candidates will have knowledge of hydraulic systems electrical systems 12v 24v 120v and 480v
- 8Background knowledge of pneumatic systems and knowledge of Parker and SMC systems preferred
- 9Skilled trainer with previous experience training junior roles
