Maintenance Mechanic ensures production and facility equipment operates safely efficiently in high-speed beverage packaging environment. What You'll Do11
- 1Maintain facility equipment operating correctly to support safe efficient production
- 2Oversee maintenance program by identifying analyzing and resolving equipment failures
- 3Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all production and facility equipment
- 4Troubleshoot and repair high-speed filling and packaging equipment including bottling lines
- 5Repair mechanical equipment such as fillers case packers conveyor systems palletizers water purification systems
- 6Install calibrate and troubleshoot production equipment and instruments as assigned
- 7Support production changeovers improving speed and accuracy of product changeovers
- 8Execute work orders on time and in proper priority as assigned by planner scheduler or management
- 9Provide technical training and guidance to operators and team members
- 10Coordinate work performed by outside contractors vendors and engineering consultants
- 11Continuously improve preventive maintenance plans and processes to enhance equipment performance and reliability
Requirements11
- 1Maintenance mechanic or technician in manufacturing environment with at least 3 years experience
- 2Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills with approximately 80% mechanical focus
- 3Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- 4Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic work on 480V motors and 3-phase electrical systems
- 5Experience with electrical troubleshooting using volt meter and reading schematics
- 6Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics
- 7Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting at basic level
- 8Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail managing work orders and maintenance tasks
- 9Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments in fast-paced production environment
- 10Interpersonal and customer service skills to work effectively with production teams contractors and stakeholders
- 11Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication
