Overview

Support the Chief Development Officer in a nonprofit arts organization with scale across donor management and governance. Partner with gift officers to manage calendars, budgets, and reporting in Salesforce and SharePoint. Serve as primary contact for donors and board members, coordinating events and communications. Bring high discretion, professional service, and strong organizational skills to a mission-driven team.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage calendars for the CDO and development leadership, coordinate meetings and board materials
  • 2Coordinate governance activities, maintain charters, and ensure documentation is archived
  • 3Support donor cultivation and stewardship events as a primary contact for donors and prospects
  • 4Manage Development financial operations including invoices, expenses, budget tracking, and monthly reconciliations
  • 5Maintain Development data in Salesforce and SharePoint, including donor records and mailing lists
  • 6Coordinate development team meetings and cross-functional communications
  • 7Provide backup administrative support to Executive Administration and assist with special events planning
  • 8Support department goals through collaboration and execution of organizational decisions
  • 9Prepare reports and communications for internal and external stakeholders
  • 10Assist with mailings and project coordination to improve department efficiency

Requirements5

  • 1College degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2Five years of administrative experience involving contact with the public
  • 3Experience supporting executives in a fast-paced office environment
  • 4Proficient in MS 365 and able to learn database systems quickly
  • 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
